Inner Alchemy
My first release was the moment years of listening, learning and long studio sessions became something tangible: five tracks with a home, a label behind them, and a life beyond my own speakers. I was incredibly excited to see the music finally leave the studio after so many hours spent shaping and refining it.
Inner Alchemy was inspired as much by esoteric wisdom and transformative knowledge as by production itself. Those ideas run through Celestis, Cerebral Vortex, Time Traveller, Mystics and Illusory Egotism, giving the record its atmosphere and sense of exploration.
The aim was never to provide answers, but to inspire curiosity: to encourage somebody to look deeper, question assumptions and begin their own search for knowledge of the highest order.

Production
design process
Built from instinct / shaped through pressure / finished by ear.
The inspiration
Decide early which direction a project should go. The right starting sounds are key, then ideas are gathered and shaped into an organic palette with rich spectral definition.
The jam + production
Hours in the studio editing, tweaking, automating and jamming sounds together. Keep it as analogue as possible for an authentic sound-system feel: heavy, grooved, deep, punchy and rich.
The final product
Reference through many sources, bounce ideas off other ears, analyse, listen, monitor, tweak and compress — then test on the rig and return for final mix adjustments.
